I haven't tried the AT2020, but I did see that Musician's Friend has a $50 mail in rebate on top of the $99 price.
I also like Audix mics, but haven't tried the higher end ones. I will have to give the OM6 a try.
With any microphone, the simplest thing you can do is just try it out. With new technology coming out there will always be exceptions to the rule and some of these companies will put out gear made for the masses that surpasses the price range. Thanks for the suggestions!

This has been my favorite mic to do live vocal perc on. Has the crispness but also some good low-end.
